Service & Warranty

 

FSN+ respects the manufacturer's warranty conditions and follows them in its procedures. Before making a warranty claim, it is important to read the warranty conditions carefully. Claims under these warranty conditions should always be made via the FSN+ website. FSN+ determines in consultation with the manufacturer whether or not you are eligible for warranty. To avoid too much searching in the guarantee conditions, the reasons why the guarantee lapses and what liability is excluded from guarantee in advance are listed below in brief:

Warranty lapses:

In case of incorrect and/or careless use of the bicycle and use that is not in accordance with the intended use;
If the bicycle has not been maintained in accordance with the service guidelines;
If technical repairs have not been professionally carried out;
If subsequently fitted parts do not correspond to the technical specification of the corresponding fiet or have been fitted incorrectly;
If the bicycle has changed hands.
No guarantee is given on rotating and wear parts!

We strongly recommend that you have a service carried out after 3 months, and repeat this every year.

Furthermore, liability for damage to (parts of) the fiet as a result of:

Incorrect adjustment/tension of handlebars, handlebar stem, saddle, seat post, derailleur set, brakes, quick-releases;
Failure to timely replace parts such as brake/derailleur cables, brake pads, tyres, chain and sprockets;
Climatic influences such as normal weathering of paint or chrome rust.

We would like to point out that it makes sense to read the warranty conditions as well as the general maintenance instructions carefully before calling on our service department. This will avoid problems and disappointments afterwards. For example, we cannot guarantee (electric) bicycles that are obviously poorly maintained. As the owner, you are responsible for keeping the products you have purchased in good condition. Wearing parts, such as brake pads, tyres, chains and sprockets are also not covered by the guarantee.
